Select your current project.
Before adding plants, make sure you’re working in the correct project.
On the left sidebar, at the top, you’ll see two options — Project and Palette.
Ensure Project is selected. If the toggle buttons are orange, switch it to Project mode.
Next, confirm that the correct project is selected. In most cases, your active project will already be preselected.
You can double-check by looking at the project name in the banner at the top of the page.
Search for Plants
Once your project is selected, you can start searching for plants to add.
Use the search bar to find plants by name — typing just a few letters will expand your results.
Or, use the filters on the left sidebar to find plants by specific characteristics such as color, size, or growing conditions.
You can also combine both methods for more precise results.
If you prefer a list view instead of image tiles, click the “List” button under the view options.
From there, use the circle icon next to each plant to add or remove it from your project.
How to use the Plant Search
Add plants to your project
To add a plant, click the green plus icon in the top-right corner of the plant image.
Once added, a white circle with a checkmark will appear.
To remove a plant, click the checkmark again.
If you remove a plant that already has information stored in the project (such as container size or quantity), PlantMaster will ask for confirmation before deleting it. This prevents you from losing any project-specific data.
Review your plant selections
When you’ve finished adding plants, return to your project to review your selections.
Click Projects in the main menu, then select Active Project.
This view shows all the plants currently in your project.
To remove plants from this view, click the minus symbol inside the folder icon (or below the circle icon).
Important Note: Purple circles will appear only if your project includes Areas.
You're ready for the next step!
That’s it! You’ve officially added plants to your project.
Next, you can start creating presentation materials or reports.
