Create and send a presentation

Learn how to set up and send a presentation to your client.

Updated this week

Sending a presentation in PlantMaster is quick and easy. There are two types of presentations you can create: Interactive Presentations and Simple Presentations.

Understanding the Two Presentation Types:

Interactive Presentation

An Interactive Presentation is like a mini-website (or microsite) for your customer.
It includes:

  • Multiple images and detailed information for each plant

  • Several report options

  • Tools to filter and explore plants

This format gives your client a complete, immersive experience of your design.

Simple Presentation

A Simple Presentation works best when you want to control exactly what your client sees.

You can send a single report or a combination of reports in one link — ideal for clients who prefer a cleaner, more focused presentation with limited details or single images.

Open the Presentation Section

In the main menu, click Current Project to open the project you want to present.

In the left project navigation bar, select Present (the last option).

You’ll know you’re in the right place when the interface turns shades of purple.

Choose Your Presentation Type

From the presentation screen, select the type of presentation you want to send.
For this walkthrough, we’ll use Interactive Presentation.

Presentation Options

Next, decide which details to include using the toggle switches in Step 2: Presentation Options.

  • Show Plant Code:
Turn this option on to display the plant code directly beneath each plant name in your presentation.

  • Highlight Natives:
Turn this option on to show the native plant icon on all native plants.
This also enables the Native filter automatically within the presentation so your customer can easily identify native species.

Choose Your Style

You can personalize your presentation to match your branding.
Choose your background color, text color, and font style to reflect your company’s look and feel.
Make sure you to hit "Save".

Add a Message to Your Customer

Every presentation includes an overview page with your logo, contact information, and a message area for your customer.

Use this space to:

  • Introduce the project

  • Highlight key plants to review

  • Share updates or notes

You can edit this message anytime — any changes will update automatically in the customer’s presentation.

Make sure you to hit "Save".

(Your customer just needs to refresh the link to see the new version.)

Create and Preview Your Presentation

When you're ready, click the green “Create Presentation” button.
This generates your presentation link.

Click Preview to open and review your presentation in a new browser tab.

Send Your Presentation

Once you’re satisfied with how it looks:

Click Get Presentation Link.

In the window that appears, click Copy Link next to your presentation link.

You’ll see a message confirming it’s copied to your clipboard.

Open your email client and start a new message to your customer.

Paste the link into your message (Right-click → Paste, or use Command + V / Ctrl + V).

Include a short note about what the presentation includes and, if possible, offer to review it together on a call or video chat.

Once sent, your client can open the link anytime.

Important Note: If you make project updates later, your client just needs to refresh the page to see the latest version - you don't need to resend the link!

You’re done!
You’ve created and shared your presentation. You can reuse the same link anytime and keep your customer updated instantly.
