Show clients exactly which plants support their local environment—right inside your interactive presentations. Here’s how to turn it on and what it looks like once it’s active.
How It Works
All you need to do is set the native region you’re working in, and as you add plants, PlantMaster automatically checks each one’s origin and flags the Natives for you.
Then, when it’s time to create a report or presentation, you decide whether to highlight them or not. If you turn it on, every Native plant will display a small icon right on the image, making it clear and visual for your clients.
But, before you can show off the natives in your presentations, you'll need to make sure you've selected the correct native region for the project - otherwise this great feature won't work!
Read this training article to set your native region: Set your native region
Turn "Highlight Natives" On
Open a project and go to the Presentation section.
Select Interactive Presentation.
In Step 2: Presentation Options, look for the toggle to highlight natives.
Green = On (natives will be highlighted)
Gray = Off (natives will not be highlighted)
Slide the switch to your preferred setting.
Click Save & Update to save your choice.
Complete the remaining steps to prepare and send your presentation.
That’s it—your presentation is ready and will now show off the natives you’ve selected!
How Natives Appear in Your Presentation
Natives are highlighted in two ways: through filters and with a native icon on plant images. Take a look at a LIVE presentation!
Filters
Your selected native region automatically appears in the filters on the left side of the presentation.
Your clients can click the Natives filter to instantly see which plants are native.
Filters can be combined—so they could filter by natives and pollinator plants, for example.
Native Icon
Every native plant will display a small icon in the top-left corner of its image.
Highlighting natives is a simple step that makes a big impact. It not only shows clients the plants that support their environment, but also reinforces the value of your expertise.
